Ninjas or Pirates? | I don't think my dojo will allow me to answer this
question. |
How did you meet Erick? | We met during freshman orientation week. The school
took us bowling. I liked to bowl and had gotten pretty good over the
years. Erick showed up at our lane and we became friends. I taught him
how to spin the ball--he got it right away and ended up beating me the
rest of the night. Typical Erick. |
Favorite Memory with Erick | In the fall of 2007, we started our first year of
architecture at AU. About a week into the semester, he randomly started
going to the dorm just to hangout at the pool table. The pool table was
right in front of my room, so one of those first nights that he was
there, we played pool all night. No ordinary pool games--we ended up
making our own games, learning to properly jump, spin and who knows what
else. Around 5:30 a.m., we decided we had to sleep cuz we had class by
8:30 a.m. He ended up sleeping in my room on the floor, though by the
time I woke up at 7:30 a.m., he was gone. Saw him in class like nothing
had happened. There are definitely other memories that will remain
silent to maintain both our reputations and our cover. |
Any Advice? | I don’t know how constructive my advice is in regards
to marriage but besides the usual, stay close to God and be a good
communicator. I’d say, stay creative. If there’s one thing that sets you
apart, it’s the extent that you’re willing to go to be original and
innovative. Keep surprising Lindsey and reminding her how special she is
and how lucky you were to find her. |
